Thoughts on this blog…

Sailing between Alphonisos and Giro Limani - Peloponnese, Greece
Kilada, Peloponnese, the starting point ...
After some deliberation, I decided to start writing a blog (for the general public) in the hope that at the same time I would also write something more personal, a more detailed diary "to myself"… In the blog I will try to summarize experiences, places, share some feelings, and also try to keep it interesting enough for others as well. I am using the same "Blogspot" format I discovered on a "half-year" cruise in the Mediterranean, which we set out on 9 years ago (2012) with Tomer (14) and Roni (11) and occasional visitors on board "Ester". The voyage lasted six months from April to October, we left Jaffa and reached Venice, and from there we made our way back through Crete back to our docking place in Jaffa. The blog then turned out to be successful, allowing many people to be partners and follow our journey. Some also responded to posts (even people we did not know) and it was encouraging and joyful, so you are welcome (gives a windfall to writing, and at sea a backlash is perfect!). Eventually, the blog became a two-volume book that Udi gave me for my 50th birthday, and we and others enjoy flipping through it occasionally and remembering. Here is a Link to the blog, if that interests you  "Rahat's sailing at the Mediterranean sea" (hebrew...)
